If you’re considering taking a lesson here are some things to expect:
Come dressed in stretchy clothes
As long as you’re dressed in clothes that won’t rip you’ll be able to follow along just fine. Anything from basketball shorts to leggings works great.
Don’t be intimidated
Idaho Ballet Theatre classes wear uniforms, so you won’t have the same outfits as everyone else your first time. However, each of us began somewhere. We teach all skill levels and you’ll find how quickly you can grasp the basics, meet friends and improve your form. No one will be anything but encouraging and helpful in your desire to learn ballet.
Ask questions
If you hear something that doesn’t make sense, or is a new concept we will gladly explain it to you. If another student has the answer they will help you understand, and as we continue to get more students you will have the opportunity to pay the favor forward.
