For 20 years, IBT has provided world class ballet performances
Performance is integrated into the curriculum as an essential element of training. Dancers are offered opportunities to participate in Idaho Ballet Theatre’s full-length classical productions. Hundreds of children from Eastern Idaho have performed over the years, delighting audiences young and old by the talent and beauty of our local dancers. IBT performs the Nutcracker every December at the Colonial Theatre and a different classical ballet every May.
These productions provide students with motivational performance experience in the context of the classical masterworks. IBT brings professional guest artists for the performances, allowing our dancers the opportunity to partner and be exposed to the greater world of ballet outside of Idaho. From the impressive staging, to the beautiful costumes to the skilled dancing, audiences are in for a magical night at the ballet.
